- The debt is $50,000 or less;
- The debt is owed in Queensland; and/or
- You are not disputing that you owe the money and the debt is due to be paid to the creditor.
Do not use this kit if:
- Your debt is owed in another state; or
- You dispute the money owing (see Minor Debt, Small Claims Tribunal or Car Contract Self-Help Kits).
Time limits apply to dispute the amount owing, please seek legal advice as soon as possible.
How this kit will help you:
- To understand the process the creditor may use to start collecting the money owing; and
- To inform you of your rights and options to arrange repayment or to finalise a debt.
