How to apply

If you would like to apply for the Regional Solicitor Program you will need to:

  • download the application form MS Word iconMS Word (65k) | Adobe PDF iconPDF (23k);
  • fill out the application form;
  • attach one copy of your academic transcript (please do not send an original copy of your academic transcript - a copy will suffice);
  • attach a brief curriculum vitae and any references; and
  • send these documents to the following address:

    GPO Box 2449
    Brisbane, 4001

The Business Development Manager will contact you to confirm receipt of your application.

If your application is successful the Business Development Manager will contact you to discuss:

  • available placement firms ie location and the areas of law practised; and
  • what the recruitment process will involve.

In brief the recruitment process will involve:

  • the Business Development Manager providing your CV and academic history to agreed placement firms;
  • short-listing process by firm;
  • interview between short-listed candidates and potential placement firm/s;
  • announcement of successful applicants; and
  • agreement to and signing of employment contract.
