Description:	To supervise offenders in the community who are given community based orders (Probation Orders, Community Service Orders and Intensive Correction Orders) and Fine Option Orders which are granted by the court system. In addition supervision is provided to offenders released from custodial centres to parole, home detention and leave of absence. Community Corrections also provides a court advisory service to assess offenders for courts prior to sentencing. Community Corrections seeks to ensure a climate and deliver programs where offenders will be confronted with the circumstances of their offending behaviour and are offered opportunities for self-directed rehabilitation.
