Interpretation of the data in the tables below should be understood in the following context:

1. For the period up to and including 2007-08 figures represent the office in which the application was processed. Some regional offices do not maintain a grants function, so their application figures were reported against the processing office.
2. From 2008-09 reporting is based on the client’s location, using ABS Statistical Local Area codes (assigned to regional office locations) to better represent where LAQ services are delivered. This also corrects the inaccuracy created by centralised processing of applications.
3. Past year statistics represent service delivery demographics at a point in time. Historical figures can not be replicated due to clients relocating between statistical areas.
4. Applications processed in the Inala regional office are now reported in Brisbane figures as this office falls within the Brisbane reporting area.
