Your Story Disability Legal Support empowers people with disability to safely share their story with the Disability Royal Commission and connect with local support services.

Join us in a free legal information webinar for community workers to find out more about this service.

A new date has been set for this webinar on Thursday 1 July at 10am. Please note this webinar will include Auslan and live captions.

The webinar will be presented by Steve Wettenhall, Queensland Jurisdictional Lawyer, National Legal Aid and will cover:

  • the service and support Your Story can provide to people with disabilities, their carers, family members or supporters
  • how a person can engage with the Disability Royal Commission
  • common concerns, legal issues and questions raised by people wanting to engage with the Disability Royal Commission
  • how Your Story and disability advocates/community workers can work together to support mutual clients.

Please submit a question to our team when you register so we can respond to common emerging themes.
