COVID-safe Magistrates Courts

From Monday 15th June 2020, Magistrates Court Practice Direction No 5 and Direction No 6 take effect for the re-opening of Magistrates Courts across the state.

Legal Aid Queensland has been working closely with the Department of Justice and Attorney-General to formulate COVID-safe plans for our staff, our Preferred Suppliers, and our clients to safely return to court houses from Monday, 15th June 2020.

The following locations have provided information on their arrangements in place to be COVID-19 safe and have been approved by Legal Aid Queensland for LAQ workers and preferred suppliers to visit:
