YHES House - Wesley Mission Queensland provides free services that respond to the multiple needs of ‘at risk’ and disadvantaged young people and young parents. Services include:
Personal Support
- Individual support during time of crises and complex issues
- Assessment and case management
- Counselling (non-clinical)
- Advocacy and support to access other services
- information and referral
- Nutrition services for homeless young people
- Other welfare related services
Use of the Facilities
- Hygiene support (laundry & shower)
- Computer and/or phone access for accommodation, health or transport purposes
Educative Groups
- Young Parents: child birth education, new parents group and play group
- Health and well being sessions (provided to ‘at risk’ groups in the community such as young people in Crises Shelters, Schools, TAFE and at other organisations)
Child Health Service
- Child health clinic
- Child assessment
- Individual appointment
