Join us for a free webinar at 1pm on Thursday 24 July to learn about the latest amendments to the Family Law Act.

Legal Aid Queensland's Assistant Director of Family Law Services, Mary-Ann Huth, will highlight the changes and how these might work in practice, including:

  • what is considered by the court when dividing property and finances after a relationship ends
  • how the economic impacts of family violence can be taken into account
  • how ownership of pets can be determined by the court, particularly where there is a risk that a pet might be used to perpetrate violence
  • when the court might prevent sensitive information being made available as evidence
  • Q&A session - include your questions when you register!
