People’s circumstances can change over time - sometimes DVO conditions need to be changed for practical reasons like access to housing, enabling child contact in line with family court orders, to avoid impacts on employment or so they don’t conflict with day-to-day living needs. Making changes to someone’s DVO conditions can help prevent accidental breaches. The order might also need to be varied to increase protection because the original conditions weren’t sufficient.

Join us for a FREE webinar to learn practical tips about how to seek changes to a DVO and explore how the Blurred Borders Queensland story cards can be used with clients to explain the process.

Meet the speakers

  • Lovisa Lundberg, Family Lawyer
  • Sophia Kim, Domestic and Family Violence Practitioner

  • the court process
