Legal aid will only provide a grant of aid for a disbursement to an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service or a Community Legal Centre if a grant of aid for substantive proceedings which includes counsel has been provided. As a grant of aid for counsel has not been provided for this matter, we are unable to approve funding for the disbursement requested.
