Your clients grant of aid has been terminated as they have not complied with the condition of legal aid that they follow legal advice .

Client clause wording

Every grant of aid has conditions. These were provided in the letter we sent to you when legal aid was approved. One of those conditions is that you follow your solicitor's or barrister's legal advice. This office has been advised that you have not complied with this condition. Your grant of legal assistance has been terminated.

Explanatory Notes

This refusal of aid is only used in the magistrates court.  For superior courts see R58.
