There is a grant of legal aid available under Legal Aid Queensland’s eligibility criteria. The Civil Law Legal Aid Scheme is funded by The Public Trustee of Queensland and operates under its own funding guidelines and is separate to Legal Aid Queensland grants of legal aid. While aid has been refused for your client’s application under funding priorities set for the Civil Law Legal Aid Scheme, your client may be eligible for funding through Legal Aid Queensland.
