Legal aid is not normally provided for child support proceedings unless the other party can be located and/or there are reasonable prospects of substituted service, and the other party has the financial capacity to pay. The office is not satisfied that the circumstances of this case meet this test.
Aid may only be granted for child support proceedings when the other party has the financial capacity to pay and their address is provided. You should keep this letter to show Centrelink that you have taken reasonable action for child support.
