Legal Aid Queensland has a one client, one law practice policy. Any request to represent more than one legally aided co-accused requires prior approval following the submission of the co-accused allocation request form. In this instance the co-accused allocation request form was not submitted and therefore your request to represent co-accused in this matter has been refused. Your client has been advised of the allocation. The decision not to allocate this matter to your firm is a final decision of Legal Aid Queensland.
