Legal Aid Queensland supports Year 12 school leavers during Schoolies 2025 by providing information about your legal rights.

Queensland Schoolies Week will run from 22–28 November at various locations across the state.

School leavers can protect themselves by reading our legal information pages to avoid potential problems with issues such as drug and alcohol use, sexual activities, violence and accommodation bookings.

Our 'Is it legal' publication has everything you need to know about using phones and social media.

Learn about strict laws that govern having sex and sexual offences.

Know about drugs and breaking the law before you party.

Read about contracts and unfair contract terms that may apply to accommodation bookings.

Find out what are your rights when talking to police.

If you are under 18 (or over 18 with a Childrens Court matter) and need legal help, call our Youth Advice Legal Aid Hotline on 1800 LAQ LAQ (1800 527 527) for free confidential legal advice 7 days a week.
