Easter and ANZAC Day operating hours
All Legal Aid Queensland offices are closed for the Easter long weekend from Friday 19 April to Monday 22 April 2019. Our offices are also closed on Thursday 25 April 2019 for the ANZAC Day holiday.
Our legal information line—1300 65 11 88, Indigenous information line—1300 65 01 43 and Counselling Notes Protect—1300 267 762 are also closed from Friday 19 April to Monday 22 April, and on Thursday 25 April 2019.
Our Youth Legal Advice Hotline—1800 527 527, is closed on Friday 19 April, Sunday 21 April and Monday 22 April. This hotline will be open from 7am to 5pm Saturday 20 April, and from 8am to 9pm Tuesday, Wednesday (23-24 April) and Friday 26 April. The hotline is closed on Thursday 25 April for the ANZAC Day holiday.

Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm Australian Eastern Standard Time—for the cost of a local call (from a landline in Australia), except for public holidays.
For questions about an application for legal aid you have already submitted call 1300 383 900.
Young people can call 1800 LAQ LAQ (1800 527 527) to talk to a lawyer and get free and confidential legal advice about bail, diversionary options, being charged with an offence, talking to police and youth justice issues. Monday to Friday 8am to 9pm and Saturday 7am to 5pm (except for public holidays).
