Legal Aid Queensland reserves the right to call for a solicitor’s file on a legally-aided matter in relation to any invoice submitted for payment.
Solicitors undertaking legal aid work acknowledge that the acceptance and payment of accounts by Legal Aid Queensland does not constitute a waiver of Legal Aid Queensland’s right to audit solicitor's files and, if an overpayment is identified on audit, to seek immediate reimbursement of the amount of the overpayment.
